Sunday with D

A couple Sundays ago, my friend D and I went for a lunch and stroll around Charles Street in Boston for a little Sunday Funday action.  We started out at Figs, which is an amazing Italian place that has amazing pizzas (the pre gluten free me LOVED them!) Throughout our time there, we tried on some colored jeans, white jeans, and some shoes and some accessories!
After that we started our way down in and out of the stores- one of my absolute favorite stops is Beauty Mark- it is a make-up store that has really unique lines of lipsticks, shadows and foundations.  They also do spray tans, mani-pedis and other salon type stuff in something that is seriously the size of my little studio!  Definitely something to check out!  When D and I were there, we decided to try some of the lipsticks they had- I went with a blood orange color and she went for a perfect red!  Only on Charles Street can you just pop on some bright lips wish you packed a set of pearls and antique shop in between the boutiques!

But then we took the classier and by that I mean more fun version and we ended the day with a little fro-yo action to finish the day and sadly had to part ways with the work week almost there.  Anywho- I tossed on some jeggings, Toms, and a hoodie for a relaxing day and D had some jeggings on too!  Here is what I wore:
Hoodie: Marc by Marc Jacobs ($30 Buffalo Exchange) Pashmina: Cart in NYC ($5) Shirt: JCrew Factory ($15)

Jeggings (Kenneth Cole $45)
Here is D and us trying not to laugh taking a pic! haha Such a fun day!!  How sick are D's RayBans?!?!

Jackie O

A couple of months ago, I went to Bloomingdales outlet with my Mom and we found a Tahari suit for a total of $38 after all of the steals and deals were applied.  It is a very classic suit and the thing that sticks out the most to me in the collar with one oversized button, reminded me of a couple of suit Ms. Jackie O would wear:

So anyways, I wanted to keep the vintage vibe and classic feel, but I added a splash of neon to bring in some color.  Why not, right?  Let's check it out!
The overused button and the floral lace make it one of my current favorite sheaths to wear to work:

Here is the dress:
Neon Belt: Ann Taylor ($16 on sale)
The Full Look- and I added some bring bangles from Crewcuts (yessss half the price and smaller to fit my wrists comfortably at the computer:
There are a bunch of colors and they ended up being about $5 each at the outlet.  The regular bangles are around $30  Go check them out- no shame in my game walking over the the crewcut outlet to shop for myself with this kind of deal!:

Is it really only Wednesday?
